Founded in 2020 by Central Saint Martins graduate Jan-Philipp Kosfeld and Annika Langhammer as a digital native platform, the brand sits at the intersection of architecture, philosophy, and technology within the context of fashion.
KONUNDRUM proposes innovative apparel concepts, designed to better adapt to the ever-changing needs of modern life by creating upgradableouterwear to cover the needs of today and tomorrow- versatile, enduring and purposeful.
DESIGNED TO BE ADAPTED & UPGRADED
KONUNDRUM has developed its own Garment-Systems™s, designed to evolve with customers’ needs over time and according to seasons, by offering the possibility of customizing outerwear from an ever-growing range of purpose-built parts. Konundrum offers one solution to fashion cycles, offering one versatile and enduring garment, thus aiming to extend the clothing lifespan.
CIRCULAR DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
KONUNDRUM only uses the highest quality materials. By designing for upgradability, the brand extends the clothing lifespan and aims to reduce overconsumption. The supply chain is localised as close to home as possible to reduce the need for unnecessary transportation and consequently lower the ecological footprint.
END OF LIFE SERVICE
Collaborating with Resortecs, a company that invented heat dissolvable threads, allows KONUNDRUM to prime products for future recycling. This will be encouraged through an attractive take-back incentive. To further guarantee the longevity of its products, KONUNDRUM offers maintenance and repair services for parts and edition.
“We see it as our responsibility to implement a holistic approach to social and environmental matters, aiming to accelerate positive change across society.”
