Twenty graduating Central St Martins MA Fashion students unveiled their collections last night for the fashion pack, fashion journalists, Industry Insiders & a smattering of celebrities, watching the show at times is like being on a acid trip, designers are encouraged in experimentation and thinking outside the box with concepts being developed through manual labour and craftsmanship, leading to organic and intuitive design practices. This year, we bear witness to a conceptual collections skilfully nuanced by visual epithets of sustainability, afro-futurism, gender, artificial intelligence, with collections being energetic, optimistic and totally unrestricted the imaginations running wild. Year on year the CSM show has proved to be a springboard for the fashion’s future leaders.
