Bristolian trans-singer-songwriter Freddie Lewis starts summer with his first release of 2023 ‘She Wouldn’t Believe’. The track sees Freddie looking back t himself as ‘She’ and imagining the joy she would have to see him today. Freddie wrote the song after performing at last year’s Glastonbury and wanting to write “a song for trans people to dance to”. The song is a beautifully penned letter to Freddie’s former self and will evoke the listener’s emotions with his deep and thoughtful lyrics. Freddie Lewis 2023 may have only just started, it comes off the back of a 2022 that saw him take to the stages of Glastonbury and the great escape is anyone’s guess for where the rest of 2023 will take him.
