Fast-rising UK electronic duo TIBASKO have announced their ‘Fiver a Ticket’ Uk tour an innovative set out by the duo in response to the UK cost of living crisis and long-term pandemic effect on club culture.
The ‘Fiver a ticket tour’ will be officially called the Lady Godiva tour and will see the duo travelling up and down the country with dates in, Manchester, Liverpool, Exeter, Newcastle, Bristol, Glasgow, Edinburgh and London.
Childhood friends, Philippines-born Ken Petalcorin and UK-born Andy Bowden want to give something back to their fans, and give struggling music venues a boost in these bleak times. So the pair came up with their ‘Lady Godiva’ UK tour with all tickets only £5. With the pandemic and roof-busting energy prices, and the battle to keep clubs going without going under to new high-rise apartments and office blocks, the guys were inspired by the sell-out success of their pop-up parties at venues like NT’s Loft, Cafe1001 and Pickle Factory.
TIBASKO are currently on their ascension starting off making bangers in their bedroom to now performing for over 10,000 people at this summer’s Reading and Leeds festival, taking over the radio 1 dance stage for their set.
Tickets to TIBASKOs Godiva tour are available here and should be supported by all those who love the dance and party culture that is slowly being torn away in the country.
Their new single ‘Freedom (In ur mind)’ is also set to release next week Friday and can be pre-saved here.
