The Lette Verein Berlin, a renowned reputation for graduates that combine creativity and Craftmanship and thanks to the creative and different approaches and concepts of the numerous students, a variety and diversity was shown on the runway that cannot be experienced anywhere else under one roof Fashion Week. The various concepts and design ideas ranged from the production of vegan leather from red wine, to the deconstruction of gender stereotypes and beauty ideals, thoughtful inclusion for the different requirements of different people, to the processing of emotional inter-family stories in the designs, to name just a few.

Alexander Gigl

Alexander Gigl’s final collection is entitled “Of old and new” and includes five looks in a black and white color palette. The avant-garde designs include loose fits, extra long sleeves and cropped cuts. Tattooed models and one with a mohawk underline the rebellious influences from punk, such as the wide shorts combined with knee socks and boots. The budding designer breaks social norms with his designs.

Jana Toebrock

Jana Toebrock’s collection entitled “Her” contains eight expressive looks. Bright yellow outfits combined with dark blue fur accessories such as an oversized fishing hat attract attention, especially as it covers half of the model’s face. The visual contrast between playful blue and yellow satin and fur and dark brown faux leather is memorable and inspired by female strength and feminism. The coat with buckles is a highlight.

Celina Suchy

Celina Suchy’s SpeedWear collection first catches your eye with its brightly colored leather looks and then stays in your memory with its slim lines and silhouettes as a homage to the world of cars and fashion. A colorful color palette and dynamic lines create a harmonious overall picture. The five chic designs are each dedicated to the design and history of a specific car – like a fashionable love letter to iconic automobiles.

Henriette Anna Heller’s

Henriette Anna Heller’s final collection is dedicated to streetwear. Wide baggy pants and oversized fits are a must. Her designs are inspired by the depths of her self and her own history. They are a thank you to her fellow human beings. A pink oversized hoodie bears the words “I love it here”, with the love replaced by a heart symbol. The budding designer loves doing exactly what feels right for her and letting her creativity run free.

Mateusz Weinert

Mateusz Weinert’s collection entitled “Hanba” is about the hatred that has spread in Polish society and is reflected in politics, among other things. The Catholic Church also plays its part. The bright red between white, black and grey reflects the suffering. And the silhouettes and shapes provoke by deviating from the norm. “Hanba” is the Polish word for “shame”. The designs speak out against the socially accepted norms in Poland, especially in relation to gender, sexuality and lifestyle.
