VIDEODROME: SOOOD – DAISYS WORLD

Soood manically searches through childhood, in their latest single “daisy’s world”

Soood grew up with music being strictly forbidden, and escaped into worlds they’d create as an allegory for their oppressive childhood; eventually learning to express complex narratives hidden in abstract electronic music. This has lent to a natural fluidity in regards to genre and medium, which has been showcased in art exhibitions and the underground UK scene.

Living in a converted warehouse for creatives, formerly London-based artist, Soood creates a new character in a manic world, accompanied by an indie video that begs the audience to be themselves. Built from the blocks of childhood trauma, and a love of creative therapy, this track promises to resonate with fans of art, rap, and experimentation. “daisy’s world” is a manic soliloquy, trying to make sense of the current, by confronting the past.
