Summer is fast approaching, and ASBO magazine can’t wait to take festival season by storm. It’s going to be an incredible year for music, and Somerset House Series just announced an epic and diverse line up.
Announced are the likes of Giggs, St Vincent, FLO, Rizzle Kicks, Jacob Banks, Joy Oladokun, The Snuts and a special show from filmmaker Akinola Davies Jr premiering his latest film with a live score. Check out the line-up below:

10TH JULY
Rizzle Kicks are a notorious musical duo, known for their uplifting pop/hip-hop music. They first rose to fame in the 2010s – with sold-out shows across the UK, making a huge wave in the music scene. Their music has aged with nostalgic charm – and their new music released in 2024 Competition Is For Losers was met with praise and delight. Their joyous blend of upbeat hip-hop and pop is perfect for summer vibes – and ASBO can’t wait to see how they bring the stage to life.

11TH JULY
Freya Ridings, a London -based artist who captivated audiences after the release of the haunting hit single Lost Without You takes the stage this year – featuring her raw and beautiful reflective records. Freya is heading into 2025 with vigour and ASBO can’t wait to catch the magic.

12TH JULY
Jacob Banks will bless audiences with his soulful voice and fusion of soul, R&B, alternative, and hip hop. The musically versatile artist- with rich vocals and storytelling aspects of his sound promises a delightful live experience.

13TH JULY
Calling all jazz fans, Parov Stelar will take to the stage and share his fusion of jazz, swing, and electronic music this July. His iconic collaborations include pairing up with Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga, Lana Del Rey, and Marvin Gaye. ASBO expects his live performances to live up to the hype.

14TH JULY
Akinola Davies Jr will premiere his latest film rituals: union black, “featuring a specially commissioned score performed live by an incredible lineup of contemporary musical talent”. A very special and inciting act that will no doubt amaze audiences.

15TH JULY
If folk, R&B, rock and pop are your thing – check out Joy Oladokun. The singer-songwriter combines psychedelic aspects along with electronic sounds. Delving into themes of vulnerability and self-exploration, she reflects on her unique experiences within her music, bringing an insightful and personal aspect to her musicality.

16TH JULY
St. Vincent is causing a ruckus with fans as people can’t wait to see her perform live this year. Her music can be described as art rock, electronic and experimental pop with intricate guitar work and theatrical performance. ASBO can’t wait to see her amaze audiences with her bold approach to breaking boundaries within the industry.

17TH JULY
Scottish indie band The Snuts topped the chart back in 2021, and they continue to come leaps and bounds within the music industry. Their live performances are rumoured to go crazy, with powerful and energising music beaming across the stage and into the crowd.

18TH JULY
The Paper Kites from Australia blend folk/rock/americana and have making music together for 15 years. Their flow is infectious and their music is well-loved internationally. Somerset House tells us that “their performance in the iconic Somerset House courtyard is their only UK date in 2025 – making it an exclusive and intimate occasion”

19TH JULY
London’s very own girl group FLO continue to redefine modern R&B with their addictive harmonies and 90s-inspired sound. Their catchy tracks continue to amaze audiences, after their viral ‘Cardboard Box‘ caught the eyes of many. The trio combine their beautiful voices with fierce style and passion alongside empowering lyrics. Having collaborated with Missy Elliott on Fly Girl and GloRilla on My Bag – FLO have no plans of slowing down. Be sure to catch them live.

20TH JULY
Giggs is due to take the stage this July, and boy are we excited. The lyrical genius and masterful flow of the British rapper have captivated fans for years. This performance is due to be explosive and iconic – as it marks his first headline London show in over 6 years! His hip-hop music alongside his dent in fashion and culture is no doubt an exciting act for people to enjoy this year. His previous collaborations include working with 21 Savage and Popcaan. This July expect special guest appearances from Potter Payper, P-Money, and Tiny Boost.
