Soccer Sixfest

Starring the beautiful games: Football + Music

Saturday 10th May – The Stars Come Out To Play – 12-9pm (2pm+ tournament) at Mile End Stadium

The wild beast known as Soccer Six is back, a raucous celebration of music, football, and the kind of culture that makes your head spin. This isn’t just a game; it’s a psychedelic jamboree where the environment gets a much-needed hug, charity gets a fat check, and friendships blossom like weeds in a neglected garden—some even sprouting into marriages! Picture it: the Inner City World Cup, a glorious melting pot that makes the United Nations look like a tea party.

There’s Now, let’s talk heritage. We’re talking Blur, Oasis, Kasabian, Pulp—names that echo through the annals of rock history like a drunken chant at 3 AM. Alesha Dixon, The Vaccines, The Libertines, and a cavalcade of others who graced the stage or they hit pitch. This is the original rock ‘n’ goal tournament, folks, and it’s coming home to where it all began—Mile End Stadium, the hallowed ground of musical mayhem.

Additionally, there’s been Women’s Football since 1999 (Rowetta is an awesome ambassador). Post lockdown heritage also includes Abbie McCarthy, Scruff Of The Neck, Megan Wyn, Alex Spencer, Katie Owen, The Bracknall, Humz, The Clause, The Now, The Cheap Thrills, The Assist, SHADE, Rolla, This Feeling, End Of The Trail and host of The Musos Awards, Louise Schofield.

The alumni expands again on 10th May at the music industry’s most informal social: Artists, fans, promoters/labels, multimedia, sports and vital/viral creators. With unannounced guests in attendance, you never know who you’ll bump into!

Reborn post lockdown, focusing on grassroots emerging names (video clip), in 2025, things went next level for Soccer Six with The Musos Awards in March (Pete Doherty, Rowetta, Kyle Falconer and bright new stars, united). (Rock and) Roll on 10th May!

2025’s Live Music Line Up has just dropped and it’s ALL Big-Time-Potential names to KNOW.

Charity: The Mile End Community Project is an award-winning youth and community organisation with an established reputation for innovative, multimedia creativity, sporting, recreational and educational opportunities for Tower Hamlets residents who may not otherwise engage, due to social, cultural, racial or economic challenges.

A real fit for the ethos of Soccer Six.
