North London’s finest purveyors of "Frazzled English Pop" are back, and they’ve brought a bouquet of supermarket flowers and a sharp new anthem to celebrate. GIFTHORSE have officially announced their latest single, ‘Love Is a Landslide’, arriving March 20th. It’s an empowering breakup track designed to help you finally move on from that boyfriend who won't stop quoting Fontaines D.C.—a musical intervention we didn’t know we needed until now.

Fronted by the song writing duo of Naomi Mann (Vocals) and Charlie Butler (Guitar), and backed by brothers Zak (Drums) and Iggy Waller (Bass) alongside synth-wizard Hilton Home, the band has quickly become a darling of the airwaves. With heavy rotation from BBC 6 Music’s Chris Hawkins and Emily Pilbeam, they’ve carved out a niche that is as chaotic as it is catchy. Their sound is a love letter to the lineage of great British pop—think the shimmering melodies of The Sundays mashed against the wit of Pulp and the synth-gloss of Pet Shop Boys.

Despite their growing acclaim, the band remains refreshingly unpolished. Their pre-show rider doesn't consist of champagne and silk towels; instead, you’ll find them sprinting to the nearest Tesco for flowers to flail on stage or grabbing a quick Nando’s before the lights go up. It’s this grounded, "frazzled" energy that makes them stand out in a landscape they claim they don't even fit into. When asked about their place in the industry, their answer is simple: "We don't [fit]."

‘Love Is a Landslide’ marks a turning point for the group, shifting from the cinematic nostalgia of previous hits like ‘13 Going on 30’ to a more resilient, life-affirming sound. According to the band, the track serves as a reminder that "the wrong person shouldn’t define your future." It’s an observation born from their greatest collective strength: the ability to watch the world around them and spin it into bittersweet indie-pop gold.

Fans won’t have to wait long to see the madness unfold live. GIFTHORSE are hitting the road this March supporting FEET across the UK, promising plenty of flowers, high-octane synths, and Mann’s signature "bubble-gum" vocals. As for what else 2026 holds? Expect more shows, more resilience, and a steady stream of pop songs that prove adulthood is better when you write your own soundtrack.
