The collection draws inspiration from the dark world of Richard Kelly’s “DONNIE DARKO” and the myth of the skin-walkers, exploring the boundary between animal innocence and human complexity. The sweet and lost animal becomes an unreliable narrator, moving in an infinite loop of “non-reality.” Curious about humans, it dons their skin and immerses itself in human life. The colors are soft and sweet, following the evolution of the story. The details are inspired by workwear and the now destroyed human body.

They dress and undress the clothes of their one night conquests, they project all their desires and insecurities on their shared wardrobe, no matter if the coat fits wide or if the pants drop far beyond the waist, the ladies stand sensual as if they’re wearing lace lingerie coming from the most luxurious boutiques underneath. And in their nostalgic sensuality they carry everything that life has not been able to tear from the tenacious grip of their little hands, nothing really valuable: plates, cutlery and ceramics that at some point should have been part of their trousseau. And the years of “Le Belle Donne” will be endless as long as they continue to be carefree and light.
