Papa Roach - Utilita Arena 05/11/26

W & I: Wesley James

Keeping up the energy on their UK leg of the “Rise of the Roach” tour, Papa Roach exploded into the Utilita Arena in Birmingham accompanied by their friends Sleep Theory and Landmvrks. They brought a non-stop high energy show that didn't let up from the very start when the massive curtain dropped to the very last song.

Jacoby Shaddix was outstanding, bringing an incredible amount of energy and passion to the stage, truly an unbelievable performer to watch. His connection with the audience made the whole experience even better, getting everyone singing, shouting and throwing themselves into every moment. The rest of the band were equally impressive, delivering a powerful performance with a sound that filled the arena.

The setlist was a brilliant mixture of classic hits and newer material, giving longtime fans plenty to get excited about. Hearing songs like Last Resort, Scars and Getting Away With Murder performed live was a real highlight, with the entire arena joining in and creating some unforgettable moments. There is something special about thousands of people singing along together, and Papa Roach certainly knows how to create that atmosphere.

What really stood out was the passion and commitment the band put into every song. Nothing felt like going through the motions. They genuinely looked like they were enjoying every second, and that enthusiasm was infectious, making for a genuine and beautiful feeling that resonated even after leaving the arena.

After all these years, Papa Roach still have the ability to put on a show that leaves you buzzing long after the final song. A brilliant performance, an incredible crowd and a fantastic night of live music. Birmingham, you certainly brought the energy!

An absolute must-see live band. Roll on the next time!
