Always one of the highlights of Graduate Fashion Italia is the International shows, and one of the must see universities to see is LISAA Mode Paris, who is fast becoming one of the most exciting fashion universities right now, thanks in no small part to the creativity/energy and strength of their student collections

LISAA Mode showed two students (Both Menswear) Adrien Walz showed dipped dyed very feminine silhouettes, very striking and twined with very masculine tailoring. Greg Tranchat kept things interesting with what I can only describe has Hogwarts meets 21 Century Street wear, he made us smile? With slick tailoring in bold Pink and Blue two-piece suits, pattern clash’s, colourful accessories which even the models looked like they were having fun which only added to an incredibly joyful collection.

 Welcome to the Magical Theatre!

The Magical Theatre is an imaginary place where creative madness is required. A menswear collection made entirely from natural materials, inspired by women’s wardrobe codes. Inspired by Hermann Hesse’s Der Steppenwolf and Jean-Paul Sartre’s Huis Clos, the collection is interpreting the different personalities that a single identity can take on. The Magical Theatre is playing with codes but is especially using geometry as a common language: numerous rectangle-shaped pieces, when pleated, draped or worn, reveal a new identity. Reserved for the insane!

For us, fashion is a means of expression and reflection. This collection, inspired by Céline’s “Voyage au bout de la nuit”, tells the story of a generation in search of freedom, moving from hatred to love. Through a gradation of colors and bold cut-outs that reflect this journey between light and shadow. Each piece is a work of art, embodying our vision of the world, dedicated to those who seek light in the darkest moments.
