Faith Child takes the world by storm with his deeply honest, lyrically profound and good-energy music. Faith Child is a Christian rapper who began his musical journey within church, where he discovered his love for rap. “Most rap is bragadacious”, he jokes, “Most people rap about things they have or want”. Faith Child is a man who leads with faith. His faith informs his music, and he admits that this can be a challenge. “Having faith at the forefront means that many people disregard my music before hearing it”. To combat this, Faith Child advises staying true to yourself. “People love and appreciate authenticity”, he states. 

Faith Child has been involved in some pretty iconic collaborations. Have you heard ‘Oluwa is Involved’ feat Marizu? (See video at the bottom of this article!) The track experiments with afro-beats along with Faith’s signature powerful rap. He also collaborates with drum and bass dance beats - proving he’s not just a one-trick pony! His musical inspirations are wide, with his taste being eclectic. “I listen to Tori Kelly, Kirk Franklin, Chance The Rapper and Justin Bieber…I’m definitely a believer!” he laughs. 

When it comes to standout moments, he says that nothing beats connecting with fans. “Hearing fans' voice notes, seeing their messages and meeting them in person is what it’s all about.” One fan even expressed being saved by his music. Faith Child loves that “My music brings hope”. Contrary to popular belief, his definition of success is the effect his music has on people. 

In future, Faith Child plans to continue playing headline shows, appearing at festivals and working on wider projects such as creating a short film. Check out his latest release here.
