Recorded in a converted mill near Wrexham, North Wales, 'Hands That Shake' is the first song to be released from the 'Oblivion' EP limited edition 12-inch vinyl lathe-cut.
Memory & reflection play their part in creating this EP. A sense of disenchantment with everyday existence yet still yearning for connection & reinvention. Disease & death are subjects explored, with the first release Hands that Shake in an anxious unravelling of emotion.. We can either block out these frustrations or learn to live within them, choosing either mindless oblivion- or acceptance. The songs are about human fragility & losing a sense of control.
Low Harness are a four-piece from Falmouth in Cornwall. Their debut album 'Salvo', released just over a year ago, received great support from the music press and radio play from the BBC. The radio plays led to the band support Manic Street Preachers on 4 of their live dates, a few months back, as MSP guitaristRec Nicky Wire heard their 'Bloodplay' track on the airwaves and contacted the band to ask them to play shows with them.
