The "Large Festival of the Year" doubles down on its most ambitious chapter yet, adding DJ EZ, SBTRKT, Kae Tempest, and Peaches to a sold-out 2026 line-up.
W: Amy Leigh

Boomtown has today unleashed the second phase of its 2026 lineup, cementing Chapter 5: Radical Redesign as the most musically diverse and conceptually bold edition in the festival’s 17-year history.
With over 50 new artists joining the bill, the announcement bridges the gap between underground innovators and global icons. Leading the charge is UK Garage royalty DJ EZ and the genre-blurring SBTRKT (DJ Set), alongside a high-octane drum & bass contingent featuring A.M.C, Alix Perez, and a brutal Kasra B2B Samurai Breaks session.

The Sonic Spectrum: From Techno Temples to Punk Pits
Electronic music’s more leftfield edges are equally represented, with boundary-pushing techno from VTSS and Azyr, groove-led selections from Folamour, and forward-facing house energy via Ross From Friends B2B Effy, Rossi. B2B Silva Bumpa, Eats Everything B2B TSHA, and Trampsta. Meanwhile, bassline, breaks and rave mutations arrive through Zero, Bakey B2B Mia Koden, Hamdi B2B Mala, Yung Singh B2B Ryota, Ahadadream, and Arthi, reinforcing Boomtown’s reputation for unpredictable dancefloor adventures.
Live & Lyricism: Acclaimed poet Kae Tempest joins the stage alongside the provocative Peaches, Hak Baker, and BRIT-shortlisted rising star Rose Gray.
Beyond the decks, the line-up continues to expand its rich live offering. Acclaimed poet and performer Kae Tempest joins the bill alongside politically sharp voices such as Hak Baker, KiLLOWEN and Songer, while genre-defying artists Peaches, Beardyman, Lynks and Henge promise unforgettable moments of spectacle and expression. Rising indie and alternative talent arrives in the form of Rose Gray - now on The BRIT Awards Critics' Choice Shortlist for 2026 - alongside Cardiff DIY punk band Panic Shack, fast-rising Dublin noise rock band Gurriers, Frankie Stew & Harvey Gunn, The Skinner Brothers and The Bloody Beetroots, while Boomtown favourites Dub Pistols, Dutty Moonshine Big Band and Nubiyan Twist add further colour to an already vast musical landscape.

Celebrating Heritage and Takeovers
The South Downs will play host to major cultural celebrations, including 20 Years of Rupture (Jungle) and the rave-heavy Fantazia Into The Woods. Sound system culture takes center stage with David Rodigan’s Ram Jam featuring D Double E, while High Focus Allstars bring the definitive UK hip-hop sound to the city.
“Radical Redesign is more than a storyline; it is an invitation to rethink how we live, connect, and create,” says Mair Morel, Creative Director. “It asks what needs rebuilding from the ground up and how balance can be restored between people and nature.”
A Record-Breaking Chapter
Fresh off a double win at the UK Festival Awards 2025 (Large Festival of the Year & Tech Innovation), Boomtown is seeing unprecedented demand. With 90% of tickets already sold, the festival is on track for a total sell-out well ahead of August.
