Sam and Jack make up the Brighton duo Thrillhouse. Their new single 'I'll Still Be There' is a sterling piece of introspective pop.
Possessing an engaging emotional pull, it is a driving, synth-assisted alt.rock that hints at the propulsive energy of The War On Drugs, the
leftfield indie-pop flair of The Cure, and the nostalgic romanticism of The Wild Swans and The Lightning Seeds.

Vocalist and guitarist Sam says of the single: "I run music workshops for people with learning disabilities. I went to this event that one of the parents
had put on and it was just so incredibly touching. That song was written about the dynamic I saw between a parent and their daughter. Working in a
positive environment like that helps pull you back to reality of how hard and how nice life can be."
The track is taken from the forthcoming second album 'Smile', set for release on April 3rd. Sam was in a mire of personal turmoil as he started writing material
for the album.
He says "When you're going through those things, you often feel like you're the only one dealing with them. A lot of these songs were written as a message of support to
people that I love. But I also realised that I was writing for myself, too. Like, this is what I need to hear."
The album will be released by Manchester independent label, Spirit Of Spike Island and the band's live plans include a special homecoming album launch show in Brighton
on release day, as well as in-stores in London and Manchester. Expect more details to be revealed soon.
