DATE: 22nd October 2024. PLACE. ROOM 303 TIME: 19.00
The Accademia Costume & Moda (ACM) Graduate Fashion Show held on October 22, 2024, at Room 303 during Fashion Graduate Italia, was a masterful display of "Alta Moda" reimagined for a conscious future. This specific showcase featured ten select designers from the Academic Master’s in Haute Couture, who delivered a high-precision dialogue between traditional Italian craftsmanship and modern sustainability. Under the guidance of Santo Costanzo, the runway showcased garments created primarily from deadstock fabrics provided by elite "Made in Italy" partners like Alesilk and Clerici Tessuto. The result was a collection of "sculptural poems" where the luxury was found not just in the silhouette, but in the ethical rebirth of high-quality textiles.
Standout talents such as Gabriele Conti, Luca Di Giacomantonio, and Eva Erkelenz anchored the show with a rigorous focus on tailoring and refined styling. Each designer brought a deeply personal narrative to the stage—from Emily Mcintyre’s textural explorations to Sharon Pacitto’s evocative forms—proving that haute couture can be both an intimate expression of the self and a laboratory for environmental responsibility. By transforming "forgotten" materials into runway-ready masterpieces, the 2024 cohort at Room 303 solidified ACM’s reputation as the bridge between the historical grandeur of Italian high fashion and the urgent, technical demands of the 21st-century industry.
