Indie/alternative rock quintet, LeisureLand, are set to wrap up an exciting year with a headline show at Glasgow's iconic King Tut's Wah Wah Hut and the release of a brand-new, theme-driven EP.

LeisureLand, the dynamic five-piece indie/alternative rock band from Paisley, today announced the release of their highly anticipated new EP and a headline performance at Glasgow’s legendary King Tut's Wah Wah Hut later this month.
Known for their mix of slacker indie anthems like "Suzie" and heavier cuts such as "Freddy Krueger," the band also dips into the psychedelic with the track "Bliss." Their current sound, they note, leans into influences from Twin Peaks, Willie Jay Healey, and Skeggs.
The band’s new five-song EP, produced with Luc Grindle at Chime Studios in Glasgow and mastered by Last Punch Mastering, is set for release on Wednesday, November 19th. This project marks a significant step for the group, as they explored a conceptual approach to songwriting for the first time.

"We are thrilled to be headlining King Tut's and releasing this new EP. We feel our light-hearted and energetic approach offers something refreshing to the current Glasgow music scene. Our greatest strength remains that we’re ultimately a group of mates who don’t take ourselves too seriously, which translates into fun and authentic indie anthems on stage."
Their main obstacle, however, is a common one for rising bands: "Literally the five of us making it together to something on time is impressive."
Fresh off the back of a busy few years homing their sound on the Glasgow gig circuit, the five-piece band is ready to drop a new body of work next week, followed swiftly by a high-profile show.
Looking ahead, the band has another recorded project slated for an early release next year. When asked about dream collaborations, two names came up: neo-soul singer Gaïa—whose work their manager, George, introduced them to—and producer James Ford.
