New single from Alphabet and a London show you would not want to miss

London four-piece Alphabet have just released their expansive new single 'Sense'.

With just a handful of singles to their name, the band already have racked up over 200K streams and built an enviable presence on the UK live circuit with appearances at Truck Festival, Green Man Festival, Liverpool Sound City and the Brighton Psych Fest. They also sold out their first headline show at the Sebright Arms last March, and momentum is gaining all the time.

Capturing what has made the band such an exciting live prospect, 'Sense' blends ethereal and dreamlike textures with driving intensity. Setting off melodically yet with abrasive guitars and propulsive drumming, against dual vocals that shift between urgency and tranquillity with a sense of euphoria. Speaking on the track, vocalist Milo says, “lyrically, the song explores the shifting nature of emotions. The quiet battle with my inner monologue and the journey toward finding balance and peace among the chaos.”

The band play the East London Block Party at The Strongroom, Curtain Road on July 25.
