Name: Anna Fontana University: Universidad de Palermo , in Buenos Aires Argentina Collection: POST-ORGANIC:

Emerging from the Universidad de Palermo in Buenos Aires, designer Anna Fontana introduces a provocative narrative on the evolution of the human form with her collection, POST-ORGANIC. The collection functions as a conceptual bridge between the biological and the artificial, exploring a condition where the "natural" body is no longer a static entity. Through Fontana’s lens, the body is a site of constant intervention—a hybrid of flesh and technology that questions the traditional boundaries of our physical existence.

The aesthetic of the collection is defined by its tactile relationship to human anatomy. By utilizing recycled cowhide leather, nylon, and handmade latex, Fontana creates garments that act as "reminiscences of skin." These materials are not merely coverings but are designed to represent the ongoing transformation of the human silhouette. The use of latex, in particular, evokes a synthetic second skin, suggesting a future where our biological selves are seamlessly integrated with technological or symbiotic elements.

As the Creative Director, designer, and stylist, Fontana has curated a vision that is deeply personal yet universally relevant in our tech-driven era. The production, captured through the photography and editing of Ariel Bocco, emphasizes the fluid movement and structural redefinition of the models—Olga Zaytseva, Juliana Gardiol, Jazmín Poggi, and Joaquín López. Supported by the artistry of Barbara Jackson on makeup and hair, and the production team of Lucía Schmidt and Selene González, the collection stands as a powerful testament to the ever-changing definition of what it means to be human in a post-organic world.
