Slam Dunk Festival has officially confirmed its return to mainland Europe for 2026, marking two decades at the absolute forefront of the alternative scene. Following its massive 20th-anniversary weekend in the UK, the festival is heading across the channel to host high-octane shows in Germany and Italy. This year’s expansion cements Slam Dunk’s reputation as Europe’s premier independent rock event, celebrating twenty years of bringing genre-defining legends and the world’s most explosive breakthrough acts to the stage.

Leading the charge for the European leg are hardcore heavyweights Knocked Loose, who will headline both mainland dates. Fresh from their main-stage takeover at Slam Dunk South and North—their only UK festival appearances this summer—and riding the viral wave of their latest single featuring Denzel Curry, the band is set to bring unparalleled energy to the continent. This run marks a historic moment for the festival as it continues to evolve from its 2006 roots into a global "must-attend" summer series.

History will be made on Friday, 29 May, as Slam Dunk makes its highly anticipated German debut at Turbinenhalle 1&2 in Oberhausen. Knocked Loose will be joined by a stacked lineup featuring Paleface Swiss, Stand Atlantic, Hawthorne Heights, Static Dress, Holywatr, and Sweet Pill. The tour then thrashes its way to Milan on Monday, 1 June, taking over Circolo Magnolia for Slam Dunk Italy. The Italian date adds even more fire to the bill, featuring the legendary Gorilla Biscuits alongside the full touring roster for a final, heavy-hitting celebration.
