NEW SINGLE: 'HIGH' OUT NOW
Oh! Alfie's journey begins in Liverpool, UK where he was born and raised, relocation to Los Angeles at 11
and lots of time spent in New York meant his music taste took an eclectic trip, with inspirations ranging from Jeff Buckley all the way back home to The Beatles. Alfie, 21, has lived back home in Liverpool for 6 years now and spends his time crafting songs from the soul, with a modern-pop, trans-atlantic twist.

Who is ‘Oh! Alfie’
I’m a guy in a red tie who wants to bring back personality and charisma into artistry, escape genre norms and experiment in various landscapes. I’ve lived in Los Angeles for a couple of years, and spent quite a bit of time in New York but I proudly reside and call Liverpool, England my home. I’m 21 and want to scale the ladder and make a real name for myself in the UK but also the world.
For someone that is yet to discover you, how would you describe your music?
I write sort of nostalgic, alt-pop music and put a spin on your likes of, Justin Timberlake, MGMT and Frank Ocean in my own fashion, I like to make music with equal parts of energy, emotion, and soul.
What inspires you as a Artiest?
It’s cliche but playing them massive stages, the thought of playing the Goveners Ball or Coachella, keeps me from ever stopping in my tracks. Another inspiration is the thought
of being able to one day repay all the people who have helped me along the way, and to be able to treat fans how I always want to be treated by my favourite artists.
What Is Yor Pre-Show Routine? Do you have any Diva demands?
Nothing much, I often just prefer silence and people to not chat too much to me, my main asset as an artist is my voice so I prefer to nurture it before a show with light warm ups rather than chat away haha.
Where do you feel you fit into the music landscape?
I feel I fit into a zone where a wide variety of people can enjoy my music, it’s not pigeon-holed nor is it labelled, it’s music, full of soul and movement and that’s what I think a lot of people can get behind. It still has its niche, yet it’s open for all to enjoy really.
What are your favourite musical genres, and are there any you dislike?
I’d say sort of R&B, pop, alt-pop, indie pop, I like to listen and study the songwriting of the very biggest stars in the world and attempt to emulate.
I’m also a massive fan of rap, to name a few, the likes of Tyler The Creator, Drake, Jack Harlow, The Kid Laroi are massive influences on my craft.
Dislikes however, nothing really sometimes I’m not a massive fan of the math rock kinda thing but I always appreciate it. All music though I appreciate and I’m an enjoyer of most of it.
Is there a story behind your new single ' High’ ?
Honestly, the song is just about the highs (pun intended) and the lows of a relationship really, it’s the toxic nights where nothing feels right and the moments where everything falls into place, at the time of recording I was watching a show called Freaks & Geeks, and the relationship between Kim and Daniel really inspired me to write the song.
What would you say is your greatest strength as an artist is ?
My voice to be honest, I think my singing voice sets me aside from quite a lot of people in the space, technically but also due to my mixture of influences and accents in my tone, making it more unique than most.
What would you say is your greatest weakness an artist?
Possibly nerves, I put a lot of impetus on giving people the best show ever and the best content and songs, not in a self conscious way, just because I always want people to walk away elated rather than just content.
What can fans expect from your new single ‘High’

Energy, movement, high’s, lows and a whole lot of hooks.
What music artist/band would you say have influenced your work?
Definitely Frank Ocean, as well as Pharrell Williams, Jungle, Justin Timberlake, Tyler, The Creator, Jeff Buckley, the list goes on and on really but most of all Frank.
Who would you most like to collaborate with artistically?
I think Timbaland or Pharrell would cook up something crazy for me and The Kid Laroi to sing on, that would be an absolute dream.
What was your worst performance?
I won’t name the venue or time but there was a festival show where all power was lost to my pedalboard so the last two songs where played almost completely out of tune, so yeah, that wasn’t ideal.
I had to undergo the challenge of recreating my whole online and dsp alias, this was difficult as a lot of my ties and connections remained in tact to my old artist name and songs, which was a difficult process to untie, I found ways and ushered my new identity in people’s faces so they could not forget
.What was the most difficult obstacle you have ever faced and how did you overcome it?
I had to undergo the challenge of recreating my whole online and dsp alias, this was difficult as a lot of my ties and connections remained in tact to my old artist name and songs, which was a difficult process to untie, I found ways and ushered my new identity in people’s faces so they could not forget.
What is your creative process when making music?
I like to mess around a lot with midi and with creating demos, the quality level of them irrelevant as I like to take them to my producer, Tarek Musa, formerly of, Indie giants, Spring King who brings songs to life like no one else. I think surrounding yourself as an artist with a team like that that allows everyone to elevate is key.
