If there was one place to be on Saturday 30th May, it was The Grace, Islington, where rising alt-pop sensation Chloe Star brought a night of energy and emotion to a packed London crowd.

Outside, football fans gathered in anticipation of Arsenal's Champions League Final, their hopes pinned on a historic result. While the final penalty may have brought disappointment for the Gunners, there was certainly no shortage of celebrations taking place inside The Grace.

From the moment Star stepped onto the stage, accompanied by her experienced UK band including drummer Gabi King (The 1975), guitarist Jake Bisognin (Pixie Lott) and bassist Alex Hancox (Cat Burns), the room immediately lit up. From the very first song, she had the crowd in the palm of her hand, delivering a set packed with confidence and the kind of authenticity that turns first-time listeners into die-hard fans.

The setlist struck the perfect balance between unreleased tracks and fan favourites, giving the crowd plenty to sing along to. Tracks like TNT and Emergency Contact were met with huge reactions, with voices ringing out across the venue as fans enthusiastically joined in. Every song seemed to raise the energy another notch, creating an atmosphere that felt both intimate and electric. 

What we truly love about Chloe's music is her innovative blend of pop, rock, and punk influences, giving her a unique artistic fingerprint. Her songwriting feels authentic, with lyrics that wear their emotions on their sleeve. As a result, her songs really take you back to being a rebellious teen, with a "fuck it" attitude. From being left for a man (Call You Back) to post-breakup empowerment (Emergency Contact), Chloe's songs capture it all, and it's all very relatable. The result is music that feels genuinely cathartic and we're completely here for it.

The arrival of her new single Fairytale, which already has 4,000 streams on Spotify, marks another exciting chapter in Chloe's rapidly growing career. If Saturday's show was anything to go by, there is plenty more magic still to come. With upcoming dates scheduled in Los Angeles, New York City, and Toronto, her momentum shows no signs of slowing down.

As the gig came to an end, there was only one feeling lingering throughout the room: we really "didn't wanna say goodbye." Chloe really did put the TNT right in our veins.

What a way to kick off Pride Month.

With over 40k monthly listeners on Spotify, plans to release new music every month in 2026, and international shows upcoming in Los Angeles, Toronto, and New York City, Chloe Star is proving she's an artist worth keeping an eye on.
