Wolfie’s Whisky, Interview with Lydia Lutudi: A Rock n Roll Queen

W: Laurence Halls

The time had come, it was another classic sweaty Rock n Roll evening with Wolfie's Whisky. These nights are becoming more sexy, loud and explosive . We were treated to a performance that reiterated that Rock n Roll will never die from Lydia Lutudi. After that massive collective adereline rush, ASBO was lucky enough to ask her a few questions on the comedown.

1.  For anyone discovering you through ASBO, how would you describe yourself and your music without using genre labels?

2.  Outside of music, what are you obsessing over at the moment? Books, films, fashion, photography. Anything

3. What's something people often misunderstand about you as an artist?

4. Who was the first person who genuinely made you believe you could pursue music seriously?

5. When you're writing, do you chase a specific feeling, or do you let the songs reveal themselves naturally?

6. Has London shaped your creativity, or do you find yourself looking elsewhere for inspiration?

7. What's one venue you dream of playing that isn't necessarily the biggest?

8. What's your advice for the youth of today?

The Hawley was so heaving that we struggled to get to the front to get a few video shots but here's one from the side! You should of been there!
