Xy Gala Invites Listeners Into a “Horror Circus” with New Halloween Single “Inside My Head”

NEW SINGLE OUT OCTOBER 31st 2025

Alternative artist Xy Gala unleashes his most theatrical and cinematic work to date with the release of his new single, “Inside My Head,” available across all streaming platforms this Halloween. The track plunges listeners into a gothic rock landscape drenched in a Tim Burton-esque atmosphere and the dramatic flair of a Danny Elfman score, perfectly capturing the spirit of the season.

A Cursed Waltz in Sound

Written, produced, mixed, and mastered entirely by Xy himself, “Inside My Head” seamlessly blurs the line between nightmare and reality. The song narrates the story of a cursed love that lingers beyond death, described by the artist as "a haunting waltz with a ghost inside the mind."

“I wanted this song to feel like stepping into a Tim Burton movie,” Xy explains. “It’s playful but tragic, like dancing in a nightmare you can’t wake up from.”

Musically, the track draws heavily from the dark whimsy of Tim Burton, the orchestral drama of Danny Elfman, and the rock intensity of My Chemical Romance. It weaves together orchestral strings, theatrical choirs, and cinematic pianos with a driving rock edge, resulting in a "twisted fairytale of sound that captures both beauty and decay." The lyrics drive this theme home, featuring lines like, “It’s Halloween inside my head, and I can’t wake up if I’m already dead.”

For those yet to discover him, Xy Gala defines his musical identity as an alternative artist living "between worlds," influenced by everything from pop to metal. Having started as a drummer in the metal scene, he evolved into a self-sufficient solo artist who handles all aspects of production.

“Xy Gala is basically my creative outlet,” he shares. “It’s me expressing all the noise, emotion, and chaos that I usually keep inside.”

His music is emotional, dark, and cinematic—"music for people who feel too much," encompassing late-night drives, stress, heartbreak, and overthinking. Listeners shouldn't be surprised to encounter electric guitar solos, trap beats, electronic synths, screams, falsetto, and a full orchestra within the same track.

When asked about his driving force, Xy points directly to his relentless work ethic. “Honestly, my greatest strength is the amount of hard work and dedication I put into this,” he states, noting that in 2025, he hasn't slept more than six hours a night, carving out creative time late at night and on weekends. His primary weakness? Perfectionism, which can sometimes stall progress.

Regarding the inspiration for the new single, Xy cites his love for horror and dark fantasy, specifically naming Avenged Sevenfold’s "A Little Piece Of Heaven" as a major influence for blending beauty and darkness. His dream collaborations include Avenged Sevenfold, Ronnie Radke, and Yelawolf.

As 2025 winds down, Xy is focused on completing the music video for “Inside My Head” and releasing an EP before the year’s end.

“2026 will be about performing more, connecting with fans on a deeper level and releasing new music!” he promises.
